Rachel's debut picture book, Tango Red Riding Hood, releases with Gnome Road Publishing in 2023. It's her debut picture book story and represents a blend of her cultures. 

She is paired with artist Carolina Vázquez to bring a unique Argentine twist to the classic fairytale. Rachel's music and dance-loving cast of characters show us the beauty in stepping through life's little (or big) misunderstandings.

Rachel Hobbs was born in the US to a Californian dad and an Argentine mother. She grew up with a love of languages and music and received her BA in Spanish with a minor in music.

She also enjoys volunteering and working with children, in addition to raising her own three kids. She currently resides in Monterey, CA.
